I, too, was raised in a very strict home - not Catholic, but it may as well have been. I think that the 1960's sexual revolution came along at the right time for me - to embrace who I was as a young woman spiritually, mentally, socially, sexually. Women have been regarded in most societies as the "lesser" sex, and still are, particularly in the middle eastern countries. We only got our right to vote in the United States in the 1920's - less than a century ago. We've come a long way, baby, but still have a long way to go.

I think organized religion, and how people interpret it, is the perpetrator of much evil in our society, the world over. I am pretty much a free spirit and a free thinker - and view the bonding between two spirit bodies as the most beautiful union there ever ever ever could be. Knowledge and facts will make us free - not bondage by other people and their ideas.
