Obsessed with Sex?
I probably come across as someone who appears to be obsessed with sex. I truly believe the environment I was raised/educated has caused me to be very interested in sexuality. Not that I was raised poorly, just catholic.
I am not against religion if it works for you. I don’t think it worked for me. I could even venture to say it didn’t work for my entire family considering 3 of us were pregnant out of wedlock forcing one sister to marry at an extremely young age.
The education I recall was not even remotely informative enough to understand sex mentally. It was a simple ‘don’t do it until marraige’, ’sex is bad’ and even thinking about it will send you to Hell.
I have been accused of over exposing my children. I guess I’ll see the difference of what some people think is over exposure and education to the extreme lack that I had.
Not obsessed and definitely not addicted… but wish I was. ![]()

I, too, was raised in a very strict home - not Catholic, but it may as well have been. I think that the 1960’s sexual revolution came along at the right time for me - to embrace who I was as a young woman spiritually, mentally, socially, sexually. Women have been regarded in most societies as the “lesser” sex, and still are, particularly in the middle eastern countries. We only got our right to vote in the United States in the 1920’s - less than a century ago. We’ve come a long way, baby, but still have a long way to go.
I think organized religion, and how people interpret it, is the perpetrator of much evil in our society, the world over. I am pretty much a free spirit and a free thinker - and view the bonding between two spirit bodies as the most beautiful union there ever ever ever could be. Knowledge and facts will make us free - not bondage by other people and their ideas.
